Andy Williams Trio

Although a largely self-taught musician, Andy studied with the renowned jazz guitarist Dave Cliff. He honed his skills playing in bars, hotels and cruise ships, including the QE2. Andy also enjoyed a long residency at London’s Pizza on the Park and has performed on numerous occasions at Ronnie Scott's and the Royal Albert Hall.

International venues would include the Blue Note jazz club and BB King's bar in New York's Times Square. He has worked with many of Britain’s finest musicians. A brief list would include guitarist Martin Taylor, vocalist Liane Carroll, the saxophonists Alan Barnes, Art Themen and Derek Nash, bassist Spike Heatley and his father, the celebrated trombonist Roy Williams MBE.

Andy has also played alongside American jazz guitar giants Barney Kessel and Tal Farlow and has opened shows for artists such as Allan Holdsworth, Courtney Pine and Randy Crawford.
