Geoff Mason is a Rath Trombones Artist and one of the UK’s leading jazz trombonists, known for his warm tone, technical finesse and inventive improvisation. A regular at top venues like Ronnie Scott’s, the 606 Club, and Pizza Express Jazz Club, he has also appeared at major festivals including the EFG London Jazz Festival, Cork Jazz Festival, and Ealing Jazz Festival.
Geoff has worked with international stars such as Scott Hamilton and Greg Abate, and top UK artists including Steve Waterman, Derek Nash, Henry Lowther and Dave O’Higgins. His big band experience includes performances with the Ronnie Scott Big Band, Len Phillips Big Band, Paul Booth’s Bansangu Band, and tours with Motown legends Martha and the Vandellas.
With over two decades of international touring, Geoff’s own projects showcase a rare command of the trombone, reinterpreting music by Coltrane, Hancock and Monk. He is also a trombone tutor at the University…
