About the event
Paul performs all over the UK and abroad, giving solo guitar recitals spanning Latin, classical and jazz genres, playing in a wide range of duos and bands and also with his successful Latin trio, dazzling audiences at jazz clubs and festivals.
The Paul Richards Trio is very popular and in high demand at international jazz festivals such as Love Supreme Festival, Rye International Jazz festival, Cheltenham Jazz Festival, Guiting Music Festival, Jazz@Cadogan Hall, Jazz@Royal Albert Hall, Tonbridge Castle.
Paul is responsible for setting up and organising the ‘Brunswick Jazz Jam’ at the Brunswick live venue in Hove which has been running for ever 16 years. The night welcomes a wealth of local talent and international artists who perform onstage with Paul’s rotating house band.
Paul also performs classical guitar recitals in churches such as All Saints in Hove, Unitarian Church in Brighton, St Mary's Shoreham & many more.
