About the event
Inspired by the intimate lyricism of Chet Baker, the rhythmic sophistication of Mel Tormé, and the understated elegance of João Gilberto, Ryan seamlessly blends smoky ballads, swinging standards and authentic Brazilian bossa nova – complete with selections performed in Portuguese.
Each month, Ryan is accompanied by one other leading local jazz player, forming a specially curated duo of beautiful, soulful jazz.
