Deep Dive hosts a wide range of jazz and blues events, from live sessions to guest DJs, so our classes are designed to get you ready to go and dance, straight out of the gate!

Jazz grew from diverse roots which have been danced to since before the 1800s. The Swing Jazz genre exploded as the most vibrant and dynamic demonstration of danceable jazz from the 1920s. These days, we think it's important to remind people that jazz music grew along with its dances – to miss out on dancing to jazz is to miss out a huge part of the African-American cultures that gave birth to them both.
