The Blackjacks are Brighton’s foremost good time R&B combo, celebrated for the groove, showmanship and musical expertise they bring to every performance.
Featuring harmonica maestro Wanderin’ Wilf, guitar wizard Lightnin’ Rawson and ace of bass Texas Slim, you are guaranteed a tantalising blend of butt-rockin’ southern swamp, sophisticated West coast swing, Chicago grit, a splash of Cuban mambo and their signature hit of Cajun hot spice.
The respective band members have played their music all around the globe, worked and shared stages with numerous blues greats, and featured on BBC Radio documentaries and TV soundtracks. Time spent with The Blackjacks means more Honkin’ and less Tonkin’ – bring your dancing shoes!
