A very special event – our first double bill, with headliners Trio qu’a trios, a damn fine jazz act from Belgium, supported by Brighton’s own gypsy jazz maestros, Django Chutney!
Time & Location
27 Oct 2026, 20:00 – 22:30
36 St George's Rd, BN2 1ED
About the event
Trio qu'à trois, composed of Gilles, Max and Gus, revisit the great jazz standards through a fixed formula (double bass, guitar, sax) and/or an ambulatory formula (helicon, banjo, saxophone).
"An exceptional trio! Their music is both catchy and moving. A performance not to be missed."
"A surprising and refreshing musical discovery. Trio qu à trois brings a fresh breath of air to the music scene."
Brighton-based Django Chutney have been blowing away audiences since October 2021.
An infectious love of performing – whether its jazz, blues, folk or Black Sabbath – has helped propel this trio into a non-stop run of shows around the festivals, pubs and jazz clubs of the UK, Europe and Japan!
They’ve have been described as a virtuosic gypsy jazz ‘manouche et trois’, with equal parts due respect for the genre, unruly chaotic energy, and a huge dose of tongue-in-cheek humour.
