‘Big Easy’ features at its core, Victoria Skingsley-Bartholomew on vocals, bringing an authentic bluesy-soul style of her own, and Chris West, songwriter at the guitar, and a platinum-award-winning producer in his own right. Together they offer a rocking’ mix of Delta Blues and Appalachian Americana.

The Victoria's Big Easy project began when Chris West and Victoria Skingsley‑Bartholomew discovered a shared passion for the raw honesty of early American roots music. Their conversations about the artists who shaped them—Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald, Bessie Smith, Beth Hart and Bonnie Raitt—sparked the idea of creating a band that honoured those traditions while writing original material with a contemporary British voice. 

Victoria’s soulful, blues‑infused vocal tone became the emotional centre of the project, while Chris West’s decades of experience as a performer, songwriter and producer shaped the band’s musical direction and sonic identity.
